Kitchens

Choosing your new kitchen can be a daunting process and it’s easy to see why some people dread the whole exercise. What should be an exciting prospect quickly becomes an anxiety fueled nightmare. A good showroom should offer you plenty of options but be able to help you narrow down the selection based on what is important to you.

Answering some simple questions, even before looking at a brochure, can often help identify the kitchen you want before you’ve even given it much thought. For example, do you prefer; traditional or modern, gloss or matt, handles or handleless, classic colours or bold? If you can answer all of that then we can help narrow a thousand options down to a handful.

Cost is normally a large factor but not always the main motivator. Most people have an idea of a budget in mind but many have no concept of how much a kitchen can cost. We offer a no obligation assisted design process, meaning we will help you plan your kitchen right from taking measurements, drafting simulated visuals, helping to choose the most suitable range and offer you an itemized quotation, all before you are obligation to spend a penny.

German kitchen manufacturers ProNorm have been at the premium end of this retail sector for years. Founded in 1972, Pronorm have led the market with innovative designs, customer service and products developed with intelligent, ergonomic design and luxurious aesthetics.

250+ front facing finishes in a range of gloss, hi-gloss, matt, ultramatt, stone, concrete, marble, metallic, timber, ceramic and glass effects.

There are 4 main product lines in the Pronorm brochure. X-Line and Y-Line are the brand’s flagship products. True Handleless kitchens, made to order in Germany to the highest standard. Exactly what you would expect in a German product; beautiful contours, excellent built quality and impressive longevity.

Proline and Classicline are more traditional style “handled” kitchens. With build quality and design no less impressive to the handleless ranges, these two offerings provide something a bit more “classic”.

All of these ranges come rigid built with outstanding product warranties as standard and this applies to every component of your ProNorm kitchen; hinges, drawer runners, profiles, handles, cabinetry, fronts and fasciae. Though the warranty length varies between items, you can rest assured you are looking at one of, if not the premier product available in the UK domestic kitchen marketplace.

Over 350 different product fasciae, impressive quality and high-end componentry, our Omega Kitchens are difficult to beat. Pound for pound, this could be the best product on the market. Ready to Assemble (RTA) is still much more popular than rigid cabinets and when it comes down to value for money, it’s difficult to see past what this kitchen has to offer.

Manufactured here in the UK, Omega Kitchens PLC have steadily become one of the most sought-after kitchen suppliers in the country. With up to 20 years warranty on cabinets, hinges and drawer boxes and 15 years on doors and selected accessories it’s comforting to know that your kitchen will be taken care of by the Omega guarantee.

As well as the main kitchen styles; Modern, Shaker and Traditional, Omega also offer 22 colours in painted fasciae, dozens of non-painted options, 12 different cabinet colours and well over 100 different handle options.

    Wall Coverings

Choosing your wall coverings can be just as easy or difficult as choosing your kitchen.

The only place you really need splash protection behind your worktops is directly adjacent to the cooking surface and behind your sink. Often though, this is a great area to introduce a contrasting or complimentary material. Most laminate and luxury worktops these days come with matching backsplash and upstand options, painted glass and mirrored splashbacks have risen dramatically in popularity over the past few years and there is still a large market for tiles and panelling. We’ve even used flooring and exposed brickwork as features in the past.

    Floor Coverings

Our most popular floor coverings are porcelain tiles and LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tiles). Both products have their place and each has it’s own benefits and drawbacks but at the end of the day the best product depends on what you are looking for from your flooring. Sheet Vinyl (traditionally referred to as lino), laminate flooring and other types of timber or wood flooring is still commonly used and you will find lots of samples on offer here at Caber.

    Lighting Designs

Lighting can be an incredibly powerful statement in a home, particularly in a kitchen. Ceiling lighting still comes in the form of spots, bars and pendants and more often than not the bulbs used are low energy LEDs. Over counter, island and peninsula lights are a feature often used to highlight the focal point of your room, plinth lights offer ambient and gentle functional lighting and under cabinet lights often provide much needed assistance with food preparation. Cabinet lights, sensor activation, switch styles, etc. are all things to think about when considering your project.

    Appliances

Whether it’s fully integrated or freestanding appliances you’re looking for, we can help you find a solution. Our most popular brands are Neff, Bosch, Hotpoint and Prima but the list of manufacturers we can deal with is endless. The correct appliances can add value to your kitchen and indeed your property. Asides from considering the obvious aesthetic qualities and cost of an appliance, ergonomic design, programmability, safety features, energy efficiency and manufacturer support are all factors you should think about when making your choices.
